Wallace Pack Prison Unit

Yesterday we completed week 6 of Jack Frost's teaching, "Spiritual Slavery to Spiritual Sonship - Your Destiny Awaits You" and the men are getting it. They come in very enthusiastic and always have a lot of questions after class. Here are some of the things we touched on yesterday.

In order to displace the orphan heart, we must begin by:
  • Focusing our lives on being sons and daughters, like Jesus did. This process should not be viewed as an act performed, but rather a position of the heart. We MUST change our heart and values. We must let go of the identity we had in our parental homes and, instead, begin to take on the identity of our heavenly Father.
,,10 Listen, 0 daughter, consider and incline your ear; Forget your own people also, and your father's house;" So the King will greatly desire your beauty; Because He is your Lord, worship Him."
Psalm 45: 10-11, NKJV
  • We must forgive our parental authority for the wrongs done to us and their inability to father and mother us. We must walk in forgiveness or resentment will eat us alive. When we get saved, our spirit man is made new, but there can still be a reaping, in our personalities, of our sins, judgments, and forgiveness towards each others.
,,2 "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with promise: 3 "that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth." Ephesians 6: 2-3, NKJV

  • We may need to practice the Ministry of Restitution. If we have an unresolved conflict with someone, we must go make it right, or we will never truly be free.
,,22 But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, 'Raca!' shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, 'You fool shall be in danger of hell fire. 23 Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. 25 Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison. 26 Assuredly, I say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny." Matthew 5:22-26, NKJV
    • Many believers experience a "believer's bondage" in their relationships that they may never break out of, due to a lack of being willing to practice the Ministry of Restitution to those who have hurt them..
    • We must remember that even if the other person is 98% wrong, and we are only 2% wrong, we are still 100% wrong for our 2%! When there is no Ministry of Restitution, even when both people have forgiven each other, shame and self pity may remain. Remember, we can't be fathers until we have been sons!
    • God does not value sacrifice nearly as much as he values restoration and relationship. When we lack basic trust, we shut down when people say things we don't want to hear or do things we don't like. This is a method of isolation and control.
u14"Therefore, behold, , will allure her, will bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfort to her. 15, will give her vineyards from there, And the Valley of Achor as a door of hope; She shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, as in the day when she came up from the land of Egypt." Hosea 2:14-15, NKJV

  • Wilderness wanderings are usually a time where Father wants to show us things about ourselves - places where we are still not subject to the Father's Mission.
  • Orphan hearts justify their dosed spirits by the faults and weaknesses of others. When we reject the spirit of sonship with our earthly parents, whether we know it or not, we are also rejecting a heart attitude of sonship with our heavenly Father. This is usually due to a lack of the Ministry of Restitution, and we will continue to battle the wilderness, oppression, and fear, as long as we are not willing to go to others and make things right. It can keep us imprisoned and unable to ever feel (or get) complete freedom.

Submission is about humility and a position of the heart, not about getting under abusive authority. God so desires to release rest in our families and displace our orphan hearts, so that we're subject to the Father's mission. Forgiveness is a key part of that process.

Please remember us in your prayers and with your support. We are excited the Lord is opening doors to minister in others areas and we want to make sure that we are able to go.
