ROYAL LAW

If you continue reading verse 32 to verse 34 it says, so the scribe said to Him, well said, teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one God, and there is no other but He. And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as one oneself, is more than all the burnt offerings and sacrifices. Now when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, He said to him, you are not far from the kingdom of God.

In Matthew chapter 6 Jesus is teaching about not worrying for food or clothing or anything needed because our Father knows that we have need of these things and if He provides for the birds how will He not provide for us? Then He says this in verse 33, but seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

How do we seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness?
Love God with every area of your life, heart, mind, soul and strength and love your neighbor as you love yourself. This gives you the right to enter into the kingdom of God as a citizen. 

Without these you will not be able to enter into nor perceive the kingdom of God.

Dream: 02-09-2016 - Near Head-on Collision on Cypresswood. Stay the Course!

I was on Cypresswood Dr heading towards Cutten Rd. It seemed as if I had just turned off Cutten Rd., as if I was coming from Vintage Park, left onto Cypresswood Dr., when I suddenly realized a green vehicle was traveling fast on the wrong side of the road and we were going to have a head-on collision. I want to say that it seemed like the driver had no choice but to travel on my side of the road because there was no road for him to travel on the other side. I quickly veered to the right off the road and onto the grass to avoid the collision. Both of our vehicles were going too fast, 50 mph each, to come to a complete stop, but the driver of the vehicle slammed on his breaks anyway. I continued past him on the grass. That’s when I noticed another big vehicle, like a trash truck coming fast behind the first vehicle and it crashed in the back of it without having time to hit the brakes. Then I noticed a long line of more vehicles coming at a high rate of speed behind the first two wrecked vehicles. I knew they were not going to be able to stop and became fearful that vehicles would begin to fly in all directions upon impact and I would be caught in the wreckage so I floored the gas and began speeding forward passing all the vehicles as the raced to collide into the back of each other. That’s when I say them beginning to crash into the back of each other. I also noticed that every one of the vehicles were all green. The same color green, like a forest green shade of color.

Interpretation:

I believe the Lord is saying through this dream to stay the course. You are moving in the right direction. The large vehicles in the oncoming traffic wrecking into one another is a warning of unforeseen obstacles or barriers that will hinder your current goal. It could also be a warning of an upcoming clash or confrontation in ministries, relationships or business. It can also represent people in strife; a disqualification; being discontent, a disagreement, an offense being taken; being derailed; a change in direction, the end of one phase or relationship to make room for the new. You’ve heard clearly from Him and though the transition may seemed to have suddenly become bumpy, causing a shaking to a fro to take place, do not let the sudden change cause you to question whether you’ve heard Him correctly or not. God is moving in new ways and different directions than the last season. He’s still doing what He started, it just may have moved onto the next phase and we must know the times and seasons of the Lord. If you think of the subdivisions as territories or seasons, it is easy to see you are being transitioned from one place to another. Genesis 12:1 The road being traveled becomes bumpy, but it will only be for sort time. Sometimes it becomes bumpy because you’ve brought along a “Lot - nephew of Abraham” figure along and he or she needs to be “dropped” off along the way. It is a temporary transitory time represented by the apartment complex on the right as I was driving on the grass. Green grass can represent new life. Stay the course, for on it you will find life. You are almost there. Just as in the dream, all I needed to do was CROSS OVER the train tracks and make a right turn into a new subdivision, which could be thought of as a new season or territory. Things may seem crazy right now, but it will get better. God is His wisdom is using this time to shake off the things that will hold you down and hinder you from moving forward. It is a time of testing, refining and purifying. DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING PERSONAL DURING THIS TIME – the enemy will use people and situations to try to run you off the road. Remember to be wise as a serpent, but harmless as a dove during this time. Let no offense take root in you. Hebrews 12:15 This is easy to do if you just remember that you are not dealing with flesh and blood. Personal attacks are just proof the enemy knows you are moving to higher ground and offense taken is like a stick in the spokes of a bicycle. It will stop you dead in your tracks.

The road the oncoming traffic is on comes to an end, so the forest green vehicles veer into my lane. We are heading towards each other for a head-on collision at 50 mph each. Nahum 2:4 These Forrest Green vehicles represent people who are not discerning enough to know they have missed the Lord. Luke 23:31; Mark 6:39; Jeremiah 17:2; Exodus 10:25 Some may be family, friends or even co-workers at a place of employment or a ministry. They are on a pathway or moving in a direction that God was moving in, but is not moving in any longer. That has come to an end and they just do not want to change or they just do not realize that God has brought that season to an end. The subdivision I was coming out of has a shopping center in it call Vintage Park, which is meant to be a play on words in the dream. Vintage means - a period when something was made or begun. So what that says is those who rise against you for obeying the Lord, who may even believe they are speaking against you on His behalf, simply do not realize that He has moved on in a new direction, on a new path and that they are now traveling on a road which is now vintage. Lamentations 3:9 Something that God began but they do not realize that He has progressed it and is moving in it in a new way. They are not willing to change and are forcing their will on you, which is really forcing their will on the Lord. Cypresswood is also a play on words, because the Cypress tree is mentioned in the bible for its wood being used to make wooden idols to bow down to and worship. Isaiah 44:14-15. This says that people not willing to following the leading of the Lord, but choose to continue in a direction the Lord is not moving in, risk making an idol of it. They may even become aggressive because they are spiritually immature and inexperience, jealous, prideful and green with envy. So they will try to derail you in some way or another. Personal attacks, gossip, slander and the like will only cause God to bless you more and more. What they plot and whisper against you in secret, God will bless and multiply you openly for all to see. If, you hold your tongue. Isaiah 40:4 Stay the course. Do not engage them. Do not try to defend yourself. Keep moving forward in what the Lord has called you to do. Just as in the dream, the train tracks could be seen just ahead, even now you are almost over the hump. You are about to crossover and God will cause you to take a sudden turn into a new territory, a new resting place. Things will get easier again and you will see that you have become a new person through the process. Isaiah 35

One last observation about this dream. It takes place in an area close to where I live. In the dream I’m driving down Cutten Rd, coming from Vintage Park, I made a left turn onto Cypresswood and from this intersection you can already see the train tracks up a head. As soon as you cross over the tracks you can turn right, which is Cutten Rd continued. As you enter this subdivision on your immediate right is a Fallen Warriors Memorial. Could this be symbolic in dream of a memorial for those who didn’t make it through this time of shaking and testing? For those who refused to submit to the Lord? If so, then this could only mean then for those who do complete the process that a path only warriors can take has been completed, or a better word would be, mastered. Mastered in Him.

As for those who are represented in the dream as the Forrest green vehicles, who most likely will not make it through the process if they do not turn from their wicked ways, but end up colliding into each other. I want you to be gracious to them, gentle, loving and longsuffering, because when you’ve mastered this season, it will be like the 42^nd chapter of Job for you.

And God will have you pray for them, and He will bless them when you pray to Him on their behalf.

 

Job 42:7-11

After the LORD had finished speaking to Job, he said to Eliphaz the Temanite: “I am angry with you and your two friends, for you have not spoken accurately about me, as my servant Job has. So take seven bulls and seven rams and go to my servant Job and offer a burnt offering for yourselves. My servant Job will pray for you, and I will accept his prayer on your behalf. I will not treat you as you deserve, for you have not spoken accurately about me, as my servant Job has.” So Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite did as the LORD commanded them, and the LORD accepted Job’s prayer. When Job prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes. In fact, the LORD gave him twice as much as before! Then all his brothers, sisters, and former friends came and feasted with him in his home. And they consoled him and comforted him because of all the trials the LORD had brought against him. And each of them brought him a gift of money and a gold ring.

Notice something about the passage, when God completed the whole process for Job and his friends, He brought restoration. I believe He is saying in the dream that His purpose is to bring everyone to a singleness of mind and purpose...even those who are represented by the green vehicles. Jesus said, "Father, I have not lost one whom You've given to Me."

Father,

Forgive them for they know not what they do. Please, do not charge them with this account.

YOU are in a TIME of testing.

Deuteronomy 8:2 "And you shall remember that the Lord your God led you all the way these forty years into the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not." There are times that God will test our faith by allowing us to go to difficult times in what we would call a wilderness experience, He does it in order that you might know what's in your heart.

Remember: It's not faith until it's tested. It will be ...revealed if its weak and unable to help you through the testing of difficult times. He doesn't test you to find out if you have faith or not because He already knows. He tests you because you really don't know how strong you are, He uses times of testing to help you realize it.

 
Psalm 139 23 Search me, oh God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.
 
God is not necessarily behind all the hard times you experience in your life, even if he does allow them. He will use them to show you your weaknesses. He allows this to make you spiritually stronger, and you will be stronger if you trust Him lead and guide you.

James 1:2-4 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
 
Remember if you feel you cannot hear His voice no matter how much you pray and cry out to God that a teacher never speaks during a test. The teacher is always present, but will never speak during a test. The teacher does not allow a student to take the test until the teacher knows the student is ready and can pass the test. The teacher wants the student to succeed and continue to the next level.

Father, show me the things about myself the enemy doesn't want me to know. Amen.

Prison Ministry Report 02-16-16

The Tuesday morning class is growing. We had 6 new guys start the class today with a total of about 75 guys now coming to the class. It is really making a difference in their lives and the fruit is there. 

I want to also thank the ministries supporters. We are able to provide supplies for the class to every inmate that wants to attend. We provide the paper, folders, manual materials, DVDs, worship music, batteries for the sound equipment. Today we delivered a bunch of 9 volts batteries for the microphones and 2 new pairs of drumsticks for the band. They have been playing with the same drums sticks for a few years, and broken too! They had them taped together. It was a blessing to see their faces light up when the saw the new drumsticks and batteries, things we can take for granted. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! For your support. It means so much to the guys that Smashing Pillars International is able to go to the unit once a week and sometimes three times a week.

We are currently doing the Breaking Free: Uprooting Destructive Habits and Thought Patterns Series. The class was very enthusiastic and ready to go over the lesson. Today's lesson was #5 Principles of Laws of Relationships: Part 1.

Some highlights from today's class:

• You find out what you're made of during times of great pressure, and it can defile everyone around you.
• The same Laws of Creation that can save your life can also cost you your life.
• God established laws and principles to bring order and blessings into your life, but those same laws can also cause destruction in your life.
• If we are faithful to obey God's laws, blessings will come to us. But, if we do not keep God's laws, or reject God's laws, curses and destruction will come to us.
• God's laws are relational. The affect every relationship in our lives. Romans 8
• The mind that is set upon the flesh is death. But, the mind that is set upon the Spirit is LIFE!
• Key Scripture: Galatians 5:18 - your future depends on this passage! "But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law."
• You cannot violate a law and have it not affect you. The opposite of the Spirit is the flesh. the deeds of the flesh (over 50%) are relational and behavioral; anger, jealousy, etc.
• When we violate these relational laws, we cannot step in, or receive, the goodness, blessings, and faithfulness of God.
• We must get to the roots of our issues and cut those down, rather than just trying to deal with the fruit. The fruit is NOT the issue! Most of our roots are wired to law.

Relational Laws

• Hebrews 12:15 See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.

The Law of Honoring Our Parents

• Ephesians 6
• If we dishonor our parents, it brings a curse in those areas. In every way wee have honored our parents, life will go well for us, in those areas.
• Honor
• A decision we make to place high value, worth, and importance on a person, recognizing that no matter what their behavior is, they are still a valued creation of God.
• It is also a decision to put God's love, in action, towards others.
• Honor combats low self-esteem by communicating to another how special they are to you, no matter how broken they may be.
• Dishonor: anger, sarcasm, judgment, exposure, comparisons, criticisms racism, etc.

Again, thank you for supporting us. We will be entering a new unit this month in Huntsville. Two students from Smashing Pillars at the Wallace Pack Unit were transferred to the Goree Unit in Huntsville last year. It has a maximum capacity of about 1,000 and the Trusty Camp has about 321. These two brothers have been turning the cell blocks upside down with the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven! They are doing something inmates have never before been allowed to do there, and that's to go into all the cell blocks preaching and ministering prophetically throughout the cell blocks. This is huge to have a warden approve this. They were warned no problems or he would shut it down. They immediately got to work and God shows up every time! I am rejoicing. Keep us in your prayers as we go in next week on the 25th. We are believing for greater revival to hit the unit! Amen.

Prison Ministry Update: Wallace Pack Prison Unit 02-13-16

Bilingual Spanish Church Service 12:30-3:30pm: Felipe, Gricelda, Israel & Yolanda

Israel preached on judging others and how it robs one of peace in their heart. Yolanda, his wife, interpreted in English. What is amazing is that the presence and anointing of the Lord is so tangible in the bilingual services that men who do not speak Spanish come to the meetings even though there may not be an interpreter for the services at times. Wow! 

Felipe and Gricelda followed after Israel and Yolanda and closed the service with prophetic ministry and opened the altar for individual prayer. Many came forward to receive.

Inmate Emilio led us in worship at the end of service. Some other inmates felt courage to get up and sing a few worship songs solo! One even sang a song he wrote to the Lord personally! The Spirit of the Lord was definitely moving in a very tangible way.

Felipe, you and your crew are such a big blessing to the men at the unit. They love you guys so much and are so excited when they here you are coming. Thank you so much for supporting Smashing Pillars. I love you brotha!!!

Saturday Night Church Service 7:00-9:30pm: Smashing Pillars covered for Randy Sparks Ministries

Preached on two dreams I received earlier in the week. Also taught on the symbolism and interpreting of the dreams as I shared them and the message contained in them. Many men came forward afterward and shared how the dream interpretation spoke to them personally, but they also knew the interpretations spoke to some issues and challenges the church is currently facing in the unit. I have been teaching on dreams and interpretation during the weekly class at the unit. Many of the men are having dreams frequently now so I felt the Lord was saying now is the time to teach on the subject.

Dream one, on the religious spirit and how it will rise and come against when the Lord is moving in new ways, which the Lord is currently doing in the unit.

Dream two, on how during times of change it is best to keep one’s mouth shut for risk of bringing judgment on oneself by judging others and also by risking judging what God is doing. The look on the men’s faces was confirmation I was releasing what needed to be released. Praise God.

Officers allowed me to stay and minister until 9:30pm! The normal time to wrap up and be out is 8:30pm. Miracle!

Praise Report! We are going into another unit this month!

 

The Lord has opened a door for Smashing Pillars International to being ministering at the Goree Unit in Huntsville, Texas later this month in a Spanish Church Service. Felipe Carrillo and I will be going in to minister to these men and we are believing God to move among the men.

Two inmates who attended Smashing Pillars at the Wallace Pack Unit were moved to the Goree Unit last year. During their time with Smashing Pillars, they learned to hear the voice of God and to flow in the gifts of the Spirit. When they were moved to the Goree Unit, it didn’t take long for them to begin to put to use what God imparted to them and activated in them during their time with our ministry. Today, the chaplain at the Goree Unit has these two inmates go into the cell blocks to operate in their prophetic ministries and many men are coming to the Lord who do not attend church, but begin attending after their encounter these men of no reputation. Wow! Praise God!  

Now the chaplain at the unit is making room for Smashing Pillars to come into the unit to begin teaching. We have been offered multiple days, but are going in prayerfully and are waiting to hear from God as to how often He wants us to go in to the unit.
