The Old City of Jerusalem - City of Our God!

Here is the next group of photos from my trip to Israel during last year's Feast of Tabernacles also known as Sukkot. What can I say except that you must come at least once to experience the city and land where it all took place. Jerusalem is rich in biblical history and even today many archeological discoveries are still taking place that continue to confirm and reaffirm what the Bible says it true and accurate. Hallelujah!

I've always love the trips to the Old City. Seeing the wall that surrounds the city as I am approaching is for me always an amazing site, but even more amazing is the city itself. There's much to see and do. The people, food, shopping, walking through the different sections and meeting the diverse nationalities from all around the world, but one of the most memorable for me is the time spent praying and interceding at the Western Wall or Wailing Wall at the Temple Mount. Yes, I know God does not dwell in a building, but you cannot deny that there remains open an Ancient Gate (a portal) at the Western Wall. How does one enter the gate at the Wall? Easy. Righteousness. And Abram believed the LORD, and the LORD counted him as righteous because of his faith. Genesis 15:6. All you have to do is BELIEVE.

I also was given a prayer assignment from the Lord for I left the States, which I was to fulfill at the Old City and the Golden Gate. Mission completed.

The following photographs were taken in the Old City at night on October 1, 2015.

All the pictures speak for themselves.

Receive this blessing:

May the Lord bless you and keep you,
May the Lord make His face shine upon you;
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.

His best to you,
