Turn to look at the Most High again, but this time take off
your shoes for you stand on holy ground. Do not become so familiar with Him as
to think you are not capable of grieving Him. Though you are the apple of His eye,
and He gave His life as a ransom for you, never forget you are flesh, a breath
that passes away and does not come again. As you are led through the wilderness,
do not provoke Him with complaining, nor should you murmur to the point of
grieving Him. Do not tempt Him in the desert, but remember His power to save and
deliver, and in doing so, you will render Him limitless. Yes, the Holy One will
once again redeem you from your enemies. Yes, He will work signs and wonders on
your behalf and the people will marvel when they see with their own eyes how
your strength is found to be rooted in the Lord. He will cause you to go from
strength to strength as you come boldly before His throne of grace to find
help. He will be a sun and shield to you, a strong tower and He will give you
grace and glory. He will not withhold any good thing from those who walk
uprightly before Him. Did He not command you to be holy as He is holy? Do not
darken counsel without knowledge, but rather wait in the presence of the Lord
and He will speak to you. Lay your hand over your mouth in the presence of the
Lord and He will speak to you clearly and you will only hold your peace! Then
you will learn He can do everything and no purpose of His can be withheld from
Him. You will see yourself as you are in His light. You will see that you are
quick to utter things in His presence which you do not understand, things too
wonderful and deep for you to understand. It is at this place where you will
discover of yourself to only know of Him by the hearing of the ear, and then
transformation will take place in an instance, in the blink of an eye, you will
see Him and be humbled in His sight. Then you will abhor yourself, taking back
everything you said. Then, and only then, will you be renewed to true
repentance, which leads to godliness. Then transformation will take place and you
will be more and more like Him. He is faithful to complete this good work which
He has begun in you. You did not choose Him, but He chose you. You have been
chosen and ordained by Him to do His good pleasure. You will see it with your own
eyes if you only believe and do not grow weary in well doing. You will reap if
you do not faint during the time of adversity.
