I wish you could see the looks on their faces as they are having these "ah hah" moments throughout the class. As I mentioned in the last post about class, the men are taking the worksheets and teaching the lessons to the inmates throughout the prison. I have been approached by a couple of inmates who are not able to attend the classes because they are not in the faith-based program. These men said they are learning the lessons from the men who are attending the classes. They asked if it was possible to provide the class to the general population in the prison because many of the inmates want to attend. Wow! I told them I would present the idea to the chaplain and warden.
God is doing a wonderful work in the unit. I believe revival is breaking out in small groups throughout the prison unit, but is about to become of wave of the Spirit of Revival moving through the hearts of the inmates, the guards and their families! Glory to God.
Plesase pray for favor with the decision makers for this class to be opened to the entire unit. There needs to be guards available to facilitate having the class opened to the entire prison. Also, please pray about supporting this cause financially. The state does not provide the paper, toner, manuals, etc. for the inmates. It is all provided by Smashing Pillars Internnational. Your support will not go unnoticed by the Lord and He will repay those who give to this ministry for this cause. Many lives are being changed and I believe the families of the inmates will also be affected by the transformation taking place their lives.
