It has been a while since I last posted anything and it hasn't been because the Lord has been silent. The Lord has been saying and revealing much, but there are times when He will call one into a secret place to not only speak of and to reveal secret things, but to also to allow a season to come to an end so that a fresh and new season can begin. God still moves in times and in seasons...
“As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.” Genesis 8:22
And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. Genesis 1:14-15
If you don't know how to "turn off" or "disconnect" from distractions and other things and people who are sometimes sent by the enemy, you can miss your time of transition from one season to the next. It can and will result in missed opportunities, time wasted and even a failed harvest. Remember we must be Kingdom minded. Obedience and faith produce righteousness that pleases the Father and that's the goal, to be pleasing in the sight of our Father.
I received a dream from the Lord that really spoke to me about a three year season He brought to an end, but I really didn't realize it until recently when things started to seem a little off in all areas of life...personal, ministry, relationships, projects, assignments, etc.. You get the picture. Suddenly, everything seemed like a door that does not shut properly because it is not set properly in its frame.
Been feeling this way lately? It's because God has moved into a new time and season and you're not getting it. You're too comfortable in what used to work. You hate change. You don't like not being in control. You finally have everything and everyone positioned where you want them, but now God has rearranged everything and everyone without your permission. Sorry. He doesn't need our permission, but He does want our obedience. Obey, He always looks for any sacrifices we think we can offer Him to be smothered in obedience. It the icing on the cake as far as He is concerned.
So the dream...
It takes place at my old place of employment, Waste Management. I was on the phone with an employee at Inteplast Group LTD.
He was requesting a 40yd roll off for a project he was about to start at the
plant. When I collected all the information I needed to set up the delivery I
called the purchasing manager to request a purchase order to deliver the roll
off.
The purchasing manager’s assistant answered the phone. I
explained why I needed to speak to the purchasing manager so she put me on
hold. I thought it was odd that she didn’t just transfer me as she usually
does. After a minute she returned to the line and said the purchasing manager
told her to tell me she is canceling service with Waste Management effective
immediately. She also said I was to remove all Waste Management equipment
immediately.
In short, the dream says God has begun a new thing, way, season, project, assignment or whatever you want to call it, but it is certainly not what He was doing in the last season. What will this new season look like? It may look like a new business, job, career, ministry, church, friends, etc. It may mean a new circle of friends with a few old ones. It may look like living on a side of town never considered before. It may look like living in a house instead of an apartment. Whatever it looks like, one thing is sure. It will be new. It will be fresh. It will be joyful. You just may not know it yet.
Father,
Give us eyes to see with and ears to hear with that we might obey in faith for without faith it is impossible to please You. Help us to be pleasing in your sight and we will give You all the glory as You so desire.

I was not prepared for what she just told me. All I could
think to say was I could not just cancel the service without speaking to the
purchasing manager directly. The assistant said she was sorry, but the manager
did not want to speak to me, she just wanted me to cancel the service and
remove my equipment today. Again, I said I couldn’t because there was an
existing agreement in place that was still valid so was going to have to speak
to the manager first. I asked the assistant what was the name of the new company.
She said - Beacon Services. End of dream.
What the Lord is saying through this dream is that a time of equipping and training has come to an end for many of us. We are now moving into a time of testing, very intense and destiny determining testing. Pay attention. Your adversary knows this and is on the prowl seeking for anyone who is not discerning enough to know we have been immediately led by the Spirit into the wilderness for testing. We must know and understand that we are being led of Him, and as long as we stay connected to Him, we will come out of the wilderness full of, and in the power of, His Spirit. It is in the wilderness where the supernatural takes place.
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." Isaiah 43:18-19
In the dream I was accustomed to doing things a certain way. I had a routine down on how I got things done, but now things are not flowing the way they normally do. First, I have an employee asking for 40yd roll off for a new project he was about to start. 40 being the number of testing and new project means a new season or new season full of testing is about to begin.
Purchasing manager assistant not allowing me to talk to purchasing manager represents hindered prayer. Purchasing manager being God and the assistant (Helper) is Holy Spirit. I am not saying that Holy Spirit is keeping us from talking to the Father because He will never do that, but I am saying it's time to change the way we pray. If you are used to having your prayers answered without hindrances, but now seemed to have to battle and strive through prayer time and still get no results, it's because God has changed the way He is speaking and responding to your petitions. It's up to you to get on His frequency and follow His leading.
Just as the customer told me I was to remove all my company's equipment from their property immediately, God is saying to us today, obey immediately when you hear the voice of the Lord speak. When God begins to move in a new direction, new way, through a different ministry, profession or whatever it is. Just do it. Just do it without complaining and murmuring. Do not be attached to material things or people, positions, places, etc. Be rooted in Him. It's in Him we live, move and have our being. Put your hands to the plow and refuse to look back at what used to be. Refuse to identify with what God was doing yesterday and expect fresh manna for today.
In the dream, I told the assistant I could not just cancel the service without speaking to the purchasing manager first. Even though the assistant told me to just cancel the service, I refused. I was disobedient and wanted to argue the point. As an account manager, I was trained to lock my customers in contracts to prevent them from canceling service with us and signing on with another provider. That is why I wanted to speak to the manager to force him to continue service with my company.
Many times when God is moving us into something new we tend to try to force Him to keep things as they are. We try to use His contract, signed in His blood, to force Him to keep things the way we think they should be, but we will never grow if He allows us to strong arm Him with His own words. So our prayers become a burden, our way of doing things begin to fail yielding results and stress level goes through the roof. Suddenly, it dawns on us - God is on the move again! Give up arguing with Him. Honor your Father and it will go well with you. You will prosper and live a long life.
The new service in the dream was called - Beacon Services. One definition of beacon is - a lighthouse, signal buoy, etc., on a shore or at a dangerous area at sea to warn and guide vessels.
The Lord is saying there is a time of testing coming and you have been trained and equipped to be a beacon of light that He intends to use to guide His chosen vessels through the darkest hour of their lives. Will you let Him use you? Are you willing to lay down all your wants and desires to make Him your only want and desire? Are you willing to give only total obedience to Him to further His kingdom and purposes? If you are willing and totally sold out then you will soon hear, "Arise and shine for your light has come!" He will set you as a beacon of light in a dark world so that His chosen vessels will be able to navigate the treacherous waters of the enemy. It's time to stand on the high places and take your position. It's time to be a voice in a dark world that at times can seem devoid of light. Remember sound is light, light is sound. All we have to do is hear and obey when light comes.
