Prophetic Word: The amazing and astonishing hand of the Lord!

Be ready and be astonished for the time of refining in the Refiner's fire is now being extinguished so that you may see the purity and holiness which I have wrought and cured in you. It is Rock solid and will serve as a foundation for the house which I will build for you. It is an everlasting house which will also be filled with the riches of heaven. Only put a guard over your mouth and let it be filled with praise and thanksgiving to be poured out on Him who has taken upon Himself to be clothed with your filthy rags. For His joy is set before Him, clothed in His righteousness and crowned with His glory...you are the object of His affection and you wear it well. Praise Him in the darkness and praise Him in the chains of bondage that He may watch over His Word to perform it. With His mighty outstretched arm He will deliver you of all your afflictions! Let the high places hear it from the pit where the enemy has tried to bury you alone to be forgotten so that they who witness your ascent may shout with a loud voice, "Who is this coming out of the wilderness leaning on his Beloved?" Because they have called you an outcast, I will heal you of all your wounds, not just the physical and emotion, but all your wounds i will heal. That you may know that I the Lord call you by your name and they will learn to fear the name and presence of the Lord. It has been spoken. I have told you of it as it breaks forth that you may know that I revealed it beforehand that it may be established and that you may learn to fear the Lord of host not only with your heart but also with the words of your mouth. Be amazed and astonished at My mighty hand coming upon your life once again, says the Lord.


Father, let the words of my mouth praise You. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised! Mighty in battle and a father to the fatherless. You alone are worthy of all honor and glory! In Jesus name.

Ministry Meeting: The Spirit of God is moving...Be Encouraged!

We had another great meeting and we want to give God all the glory for what He did Saturday night. I had a message to share about being encouraged, but the Lord decided to do the encouraging Himself. I never got to share the message I had prepared because the Lord literally showed up and began to bring words of encouragement to us all.

 

We started with corporate prayer. Then we moved into sharing testimonies. We only intended to share two or three testimonies, but that is when the Spirit began to move! Prophetic words began to be released over people.

• There was a young man named Daniel who visited for his first time. He received a powerful word revealing the prophetic calling on his life and the intercessor's mantle upon him today.
• There was emotional and physical healing received by several
• A testimony from someone we prayed for in a previous meeting who received her healing as well.
• The Lord began the process of restoring a young man's broken relationship with Him. The young man had the impression God was not presented when he needed Him the most.  
• There was a corporate impartation released for everyone to bring to full term the plan and purposes of God for our lives and the spirit that aborts the plan of God for our lives to be bound and its assignments broken and canceled. Hallelujah!
• There was also personal ministry afterwards with many more prophetic words and impartations released.

 

We then were moved in worshipping the Lord. There was such a precious presence that was so tangible. We were truly worshiping in spirit and in truth, bathing the Lord with love and adoration for His lovingkindness. When the Lord wants to change the direction of a meeting, learn to let Him do what He wants to do. I promise the result will be fruit. The pictures speak for themselves.

 Afterwards we broke bread together and fellowshipped. It was an awesome night. The Lord did many other things Saturday night. The Spirit of the Lord moved and we were encouraged! We hope to see you next time.

Vision: Incoming missiles taken out by our own missiles

I recently was reminded of a vision I had a couple of years ago. The vision was a call to intercession, but it came with a word of caution and wisdom. I feel led to share it again because there is a strong urgency being released from heaven for a call to intercession. My prayer is that you will heed the call...

10-18-13 Vision – Incoming missiles taken out by our own missiles

I saw missiles rising into the air from far distances far away from the land I was in. As they rose into the sky they bowed over and began to come down over the area and the land I was standing in. They seemed to be moving in slow motion. Suddenly, I saw missiles begin to rise from all around me where I stood. They were fast as lightning and intercepted every incoming missile to destroy them in midair before they could hit their intended targets.

 

 

More incoming missiles began to come, seemingly from out of thin air, and more missiles from around the land where I stood were launched into the sky against them. They looked like lightning bolts coming out of the ground. They struck every incoming missile and destroyed them before they could hit the land. Then the process started all over again.

This time I looked around to see where the missiles were being launched from, but to my surprise, I saw launch pads without missiles. Instead, there were people on them and they were praying. They prayed fervently until they began to burn bright with God’s glory until the glory exploded out of them looking like a missile in a streak of lightning, hitting the incoming missiles and destroying them.

Then the people on the launch pads were depleted, but seemed to be excited at the success of their intercession, but then they became a little disoriented and grayish in color. Some of them immediately went to a place and began to drink water until they became colorful again. They did this for a time and then they went back to the launch pads and began to intercede as soon as they saw an incoming missile. They were on point and hit the incoming target.

 

The other intercessors that did not do as the first group just wandered around for a while until they could not walk anymore. They would fall down on the ground and begin crying and were depressed. They seemed have no will or understanding that they needed to be drinking water just like the others. End of vision

  

 

Interpretation:

The people in the vision are seers and prophetic intercessors who God has positioned to intercede over the land. He is exposing the plans of the enemy even though the enemy is from a far and distant location. The Lord’s people in the vision were able to take out every single missile. These are the intercessors who have laid their lives and agendas down to take up the cause of the King. They have been given great authority in the spirit realm to expose and cancel the plans of the enemy before they ever manifest.

 

2 Kings 6:8-12 ⁸ One time when the king of Aram was at war with Israel, after consulting with his officers, he said, “At such and such a place I want an ambush set.” ⁹ The Holy Man sent a message to the king of Israel: “Watch out when you’re passing this place, because Aram has set an ambush there.” ⁰ So the king of Israel sent word concerning the place of which the Holy Man had warned him. This kind of thing happened all the time. ¹¹ The king of Aram was furious over all this. He called his officers together and said, “Tell me, who is leaking information to the king of Israel? Who is the spy in our ranks?” ¹² But one of his men said, “No, my master, dear king. It’s not any of us. It’s Elisha the prophet in Israel. He tells the king of Israel everything you say, even what you whisper in your bedroom. “Message Bible

 

These intercessors are not moved by what they see in the natural so they are not motivated by fear, worry or anxiety. They are only motivated by what is revealed to them during intercession by the King of kings. They are only motivated by the victory that has already been won by the Ancient of Days.

 

Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. NKJV

 

They wisely intercede until they are burning bright with the revelation the Lord has for them concerning the assignment He has for them to accomplish.

 

Matthew 28:3 His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.

 

Isaiah 60:1-2 Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

 

Then and only then will they rise onto the launch pad, which symbolizes the intercessor rising in intercession into the spirit realm ready to make war by the abundance of revelation given to them. They are only moved by the Spirit so God has given them great authority, a mantle to see and hear what the enemy is planning in his war rooms. They have learned to only say what the Father is saying and they have learned to only say it when He tells them to say it. John the Baptist said Jesus would baptize us with the Holy Ghost and fire.

 

John 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: KJV

 

One meaning for the word fire in this verse is lightning - "fire" (literally or figuratively, specially, lightning):—fiery, fire. – Strong’s Definition

 

The lightning symbolizing His power released through the intercessors by way of decree and declaration to destroy the works of the enemy.

 

 

2 Samuel 22:15 He sent out arrows and scattered them; lightning bolts, and He vanquished them.

 

Job 36:32 He covers His hands with lightning, and commands it to strike.

 

Job 37:3 He sends it forth under the whole heaven, His lightning to the ends of the earth.

 

Psalm 78:48 He also gave up their cattle to the hail, and their flocks to fiery lightning.

 

The Lord has raised up mighty men and women of no reputation, who are willing to lay aside all in order to be used by Him to expose and bring down the plans of the enemy against this nation. He has given them power and influence over the nations.

 

The Lord is saying to these intercessors it is important to enter into a season of rest after they have achieved the assignment He has called them to. They must be careful to not allow the thrill of the victory to cause them to carelessly continue on without taking time to be refreshed by the Lord through His Word and Spirit, which is shown by the intercessors drinking water in the vision. To continue on without a season of rest is carelessness and pride on the intercessor’s behalf, presuming that no one else is willing to stand in the gap. This same thing happened to the prophet Elijah.

 

1 Kings 19:14, 18 And he said, “I have been very zealous for the LORD God of hosts; because the children of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword. I alone am left; and they seek to take my life.”

 

The Lord’s response to Elijah…v18  “Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him.” NKJV

 

The minute an intercessor begins to believe they are the only one who is fasting and interceding, or they are more special than the other intercessors of God, they have entered into deception, and pride is the bride of deception. These are the intercessors in the vision who did not rest after completing their assignment. They would not take time to pray and fast to receive a refreshing from the Lord and a fresh revelation for their next assignment. It wasn’t long before they are wandering around confused depressed, representing being off point and carnal, doubting they are even hearing from the Lord, even believing they are under attack by the enemy, but in reality they are just dehydrated (no Word in them) and exhausted (no rest from the Lord). No doubt this can and will open a door for attacks.

 

1 Kings 19:5-8 Then as he lay and slept under a broom tree, suddenly an angel touched him, and said to him, “Arise and eat.” Then he looked, and there by his head was a cake baked on coals, and a jar of water. So he ate and drank, and lay down again. And the angel of the LORD came back the second time, and touched him, and said, “Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for you.” So he arose, and ate and drank; and he went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights as far as Horeb, the mountain of God.

 

The intercessors who took time to rest, read the Word, and pray, would become very colorful, which represented being refreshed, strengthen and receiving fresh revelation for the next assignment. Once the season of rest was completed, the intercessor would rise on the platform once again to release the decrees and declarations received during their time of rest in the presence of the Lord. Their intercession was successful as it was in the beginning of the vision.

 

The Lord is saying it is imperative that His intercessors rest after they have completed their assignments. End-time intercessors must not be must not become fearful and anxious, taking upon themselves the same self-deception Elijah brought upon himself, believing they are more important than they really are. End-time intercessors are very important, but they are not all alone in this battle. They are not called to be lone rangers. They are called to be a part of a body of intercessors, God’s end-time army. He has untold numbers of intercessors to take the place of intercessors who are resting. He’s got it all worked out. Do not fear, He has already overcome the world.

 

 

Intercessor, you too must also overcome the world, in and through Him, who has already overcome all things.

 

Revelation 2:25-29 “But hold fast what you have till I come. “And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations— ‘He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’—
as I also have received from My Father; “and I will give him the morning star. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” NKJV

 

Father, thank you for giving us willing hearts and minds so that we might humble ourselves to pray. Show us our wicked ways, but then show us yours ways. Father, in Jesus name we pray.

Prison Ministry Report

I wanted to share the following with the ministry supporters to see that the finances you have sown and the prayers you have prayed are changing the lives of the men in the prison. Mothers are even sending messages about the transformation their sons have experienced through this ministry. I give God the glory for the testimonies coming forth and I thank you for funding the ministry. Wallace Pack 1 Prison Unit 07-14-15

We were supposed to begin a new curriculum yesterday, but during worship the Lord instructed me to teach on the progressive covenants of God. When we went through the last worship song the Lord began to give me a prophetic word for the group through Paul's words in Philippians 3:3-11

 

For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh, though I also might have confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I more so: circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee; concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.

 

Paul had to let go of what he thought he knew about God if he wanted to know God. He had to lay down all his work to understand God in order to enter into a relationship with Christ and gain firsthand knowledge of the Son of God through a personal and intimate relationship, or covenant, through which came his identity.

 

I explained to the men the Lord was wanting them to enter into a more intimate relationship with Him. It can only come through covenant because it is through God's covenants that we can obtain our true identity.

 

For a Christian who has been raised on the doctrine that God promises everything to us in His Word, which is true, it can be difficult to accept that God is really seeking something deeper, a covenant relationship. This requires the believer to participate in maintaining this covenant with God. This may seem more difficult to do than to just believe God keeps His promises, which He does, but the difference I believe is relationship. Biblical covenants were everlasting, meaning that even the descendants of those who entered into covenant were included in the covenant. It was a bond the was to be unbreakable...intimacy being the glue the does the bonding.

 

I used a teaching on the progressive covenants I was taught by my dear friend Janice Sturkie. Love you Janice! The men loved the your teaching. They got a hold of it and are running with it!

 

The men asked for a few minutes at the end of the class to do a presentation. Well I was not prepared for this big blessing. The men made a card for both Shawn and I each. Shawn has been going with me on Tuesdays to assist with the class and to pray with the men. Along with the cards we each received wallets hand made by the former Muslim brother who recently converted to Christianity during one of our services! This young brother said he just wanted to bless us and had been anxiously waiting for a couple of weeks to give them to us. One by one the men came up to tell us how much it meant the ministry meant to them and the impact that it has had on their lives.
 
One particular brother said - Samuel, when you first started these classes you told me that your purpose was to help the men get free from mindsets that have kept them from breaking free from cycles of defeat and I stand here today to tell you that you have accomplished that in my life and the lives of many of the men here today. With the teachings you bring from Jake Frost's ministry and your own teachings that you share from the Word of God and your own life's experiences, not to mention the ministry of Chaplain Nichols, Marleah Baird with Randy and Vicki Sparks, we men are having our lives transformed inside out and from the bottom of our hearts we wanted to say thank you and we love you. - Inmate at Wallace Pack I  
 
One last thing about the wallet. I told the guys it was such a prophetic symbol of what we just studied in class...covenant. A wallet is symbolic of identity, influence, treasure, heart and favor. I felt the Lord was saying it represented everything the men had just shared about the changes they have experienced in their lives. It represents their new identity they have received. Wow!
 
It was hard, but I kept it together. I just want to give credit to where the credit is due and that is to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Almighty God alone is worthy of the praise, honor and glory.
Thank you Lord Jesus for all the lives you are touching through this ministry.

Street Ministry - Downtown Houston, Texas

The Lord continues to open doors for the ministry. Yesterday we did our first Spanish Church Service at the Wallace Pack Prison Unit with Pastors Felipe and Gricelda Carrillo. The Lord moved mightily and Pastor Felipe preached a powerful message about how to have the proper attitude with approaching the Lord.

 

 

This morning we hit the streets of downtown Houston, Texas to minister to the homeless and give them some food. We met up with an old friend from high school, Richard Olivier. It was great to see this brother and his friends. Terri, Cindy, Mary and Walter were with me. The Lord was present in a very tangible way. The pictures speak for themselves. Enjoy the video!

A Call To Intercession - Pt 2: Dream about the coming Rainbow Coalition

07-02-15 Two Dreams – Mom breaks bowl in sink – Bowl of water and soap

1^st Dream

Woke at 5:28 am. Just before I woke up I dreamed I was in the kitchen with mom. She had a very large green bowl she was trying to hold over the sink to fill with water. The bowl was so large that she couldn’t reach the water faucet so she pressed her chest against the bowl to free her hands to reach harder for it. I stood behind her watching over her shoulder as she pressed harder to reach the faucet. Suddenly there was loud pop and the bowl broke. I didn’t see it break from where I was standing, but I knew that it broke because I heard the sound of it hitting mom in the mouth or face. She instantly turned around holding her mouth and nose with her hands. I could see she was swelling very rapidly because her hands were being lifting up from under the area of her face she was covering. I could tell she was in severe pain. Immediately, I place my hands over hers and began to pray in tongues. As I prayed the swelling went down. Mom began to agree with me in prayer as the swelling went away. Then she was fine. The pain and swelling went away and we both removed our hands to see no injury or bruising to her face. End of dream

Interpretation

The Lord is calling His intercessors to watch and pray for the Church as she tries to maneuver through this season of uncertainty concerning the Supreme Court’s legalization of gay marriage in all 50 states.

My mother, representing the Church in the dream, was trying to fill a bowl that too big for her to carry alone. She should have cried out to God first before trying to fill it alone. I believe the Lord is saying many in the Church are praying presumptuous prayers right now. Thinking they know how God would handle this situation, but not realizing this is beyond our human reasoning and understanding to pray without guidance from God represented by mom holding the bowl with her chest. This would represent the Church taking on this burden without seeking wisdom from God first through consecrated prayer and fasting.

Joel 1:14 Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly; Gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry out to the LORD.

 

The bible describes bowls filled with the prayers of the saints that are kept before the throne of God in Revelation.

 

 

Revelation 5:8 Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

Now because the bowls filled with the prayers of the saints are gold and the bowl in the dream is green, which is the color of fruitfulness and flourishing, the Lord is saying the Church’s presumptuous prayers are not bearing much fruit at the moment because they are being praying out of the strength of men rather than the wisdom of God. This is represented by my mother trying to fill the bowl herself resulting in her breaking the bowl and taking a blow to the mouth. The blow to the mouth represents the authority of the Church, her voice, being silenced. Because the Church is not unified in her intercession the enemy will be given an opportunity to strike her through the courts again. They will not be satisfied with marriage equality. They never intended to stop there. They seek to take the full authority of the Church away from her and to silence anything she has to say that contradicts their homosexual agenda. The courts will side with them again and say we must change our doctrine to approve of their lifestyle or risk losing non-profit status, and/or even worse, risk criminal charges. It will seem as they have succeeded in silencing the Church’s voice, effectively taking her authority from her, but God is saying it is only for a very short time, if we pray and intercede for the Church. If the intercessors will fast and pray to seek God for guidance on how to pray, the blow to the Church will be minimized and her voice, her authority, will be restored to her unhindered by the courts and by man.

Proverbs37:10 For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; indeed, you will look carefully for his place, but it shall be no more.

We must not presume to know what to pray or how to pray just because we know what the Scriptures say about this situation. God is saying this is way beyond our ability to know how to pray of our own selves. The Church must seek Him first before trying to fill the bowl. Otherwise the Church will never fill it to be set before the throne. Her prayers will not avail much, but if the intercessors will watch over the Church and cover her in prayer, the Lord Himself will join her to fill the bowl with righteous intercession. Then it will go from being a green broken bowl, unable to retain anything or produce anything, to being a golden bowl before the throne of God, filled with prayers that avail much fruit on the earth.

 

When the White House was lit up with the rainbow colors, the Lord revealed that each color in the rainbow represented additional laws legalizing sexual perversions and laws aimed at the Church which would be revealed soon. It's coming and cannot be stopped. This will cause a great falling away by those who do not want go against the grain of the new world order.

2^nd Dream

After I woke from the first dream, I got up and went downstairs to make some coffee.  As I walked to the kitchen I pondered the dream I just received. As the Lord revealed what the dream meant, my mom walked into the kitchen. She told me she had a dream before she woke up and that she felt she was to share it with me.

Dream – Mom was in a house, sitting in a chair. Her sister placed a BOWL of water next to mom. It was for her sister’s son, who lives a homosexual lifestyle, to bath with. Just then he walks in and started fooling with mom, horse playing, but mom was trying to be serious with him. He wasn’t taking her seriously. Mom told him to stop playing around because she didn’t want to say something to him that he might not like and then he would be upset with her. He continued to not take her seriously. Just then mom’s dad walked into the room. He looked as if he had been sleeping. Mom asked him if they woke him up and he said no. Then he tells the son he better stop misbehaving. Then mom had a bar of soap and she was putting soap on her face. The son tells her to stop using the soap because it belonged to him and she might get what he has if she uses it. End of dream

Interpretation

This dream is a confirmation of the first dream. My mom is again the Church. Her sister is the Holy Spirit. In the dream mom sitting down represents the Church being put in a position of vulnerability. The homosexual community currently feels it has the upper hand over the Church and will begin to bully the Church while in this place of vulnerability.  They will not listen to sound doctrine no matter how clearly it is presented to them because they now believe they have taken control of the Church.

 

Acts 28:27

For the hearts of this people have grown dull.Their ears are hard of hearing,
And their eyes they have closed,
Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears,
Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,
So that I should heal them.” 

 

Their sole purpose is to change the Word of God to be all inclusive. They will make it mandatory to accept them as chosen and called of God, which they are, but will never enter into the call if they do not renounce the lifestyle God calls sin. They will seek to make this the law of the land in all arenas aka the seven mountains of the god of this world. Anyone who does not conform to this new doctrine will be labeled a bigot and racist, and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the new laws being prepared for signature by the one who has a pen and a phone.  This will cause some leaders in the Church to fear speaking the truth, represented by mom telling her sister’s son to stop messing with her because he might not like what she really wants to say to him.

 

Jeremiah 10:21

For the shepherds have become dull-hearted,
And have not sought the LORD;
Therefore they shall not prosper,
And all their flocks shall be scattered.

 

But just when it seems that all is lost, just when it seems like God is dead concerning this situation, the Father will arrive on the scene to speak forth His judgment and decree. This will cause the Church to begin to see that she needs to be cleansed, thus causing her to not respond to the enemy, but to begin to repent and begin to cleanse herself.  The enemy will also make a last minute attempt to convince the Church is does not need to repent.

 

Isaiah 6:10

Make the heart of this people dull,
And their ears heavy,
And shut their eyes;
Lest they see with their eyes,
And hear with their ears,
And understand with their heart,
And return and be healed.

 

Ultimately, the enemy, the fallen one, will try to stop the coming revival of repentance to the Church, but it will not be stop once it begins. It shall come to pass. America shall be saved through repentance and all who seek to stop it will be judged by the One who can destroy and condemn the soul to hell…and He will, make no mistake about it. End

Matthew 12:46-50 While He was still talking to the multitudes, behold, His mother and brothers stood outside, seeking to speak with Him. ⁴⁷ Then one said to Him, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You.” ⁴⁸ But He answered and said to the one who told Him, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?” ⁴⁹ And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! ⁵⁰ For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”

All are created by God, but not all are sons and daughters of God.

Conclusion

We must not assume to know how to pray today. We must seek God first before we can speak to man. We are being presumptuous to think we know how to respond or what to say in this time if we have not truly sought God with our whole heart during a time of fasting and praying. Then what we have been doing in secret, God will reward us openly.

When news broke of the Supreme Court’s ruling I got before the Lord and asked Him what to do and He said consecrate a fast…

 

He highlighted the following words to me: Consecrate, Fast, Gather and Cry Out To The Lord.

Until we have done this we cannot know what He has to say about this situation or anything else that is certain to come after. Remember that America is under God’s Redemptive Judgments now. This is just the tip of the iceberg. There are more court rulings to follow legalizing more things contrary to the nature of God. It’s true whether you believe it or not. 

 

Consecration 

 

New King James Version of 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 - Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? ¹⁵ And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? ¹⁶ And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:

“I will dwell in them
And walk among them.
I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.”

¹⁷ Therefore

“Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you.”
¹⁸ “I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the Lord Almighty.”

 

But read the Message Bible's version of 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 don’t become partners with those who reject God. How can you make a partnership out of right and wrong? That’s not partnership; that’s war. Is light best friends with dark? Does Christ go strolling with the Devil? Do trust and mistrust hold hands? Who would think of setting up pagan idols in God’s holy Temple? But that is exactly what we are, each of us a temple in whom God lives. God himself put it this way:

 

“I’ll live in them, move into them;
    I’ll be their God and they’ll be my people.
So leave the corruption and compromise;
    leave it for good,” says God.
“Don’t link up with those who will pollute you.
    I want you all for myself.
I’ll be a Father to you;
    you’ll be sons and daughters to me.”
The Word of the Master, God.

 

Before we can even approach God concerning this, we must get rid of compromise in our lives. Plain and simple. We have to make a conscious decision to get the unclean things out of our lives. Start with associations, then move on to movies, music etc.…

Then we can enter into a time of fasting with the Lord….

 

Fast

 

Matthew 17:14-21 And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, ¹⁵ “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. ¹⁶ So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.”

¹⁷ Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” ¹⁸ And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.

¹⁹ Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”

²⁰ So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. ²¹ However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

When they asked Jesus why they couldn’t cast out the spirit He answered, “Because of your unbelief.”

I believe the Lord is saying there is a spirit of unbelief that has raised up a faithless and perverse generation today and we can only deal with it by fasting and praying for it to be cast down.

Psalm 133 - Blessed Unity of the People of God

A Song of Ascents. Of David.

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity!

² It is like the precious oil upon the head,
Running down on the beard,
The beard of Aaron,
Running down on the edge of his garments.

³ It is like the dew of Hermon,
Descending upon the mountains of Zion;
For there the Lord commanded the blessing—
Life forevermore.

 

Hebrews 10:25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

 

More than ever we must be gathering with other who are like minded. It is in this environment of the sacred assembling of ourselves that the Lord will pour out His wisdom and knowledge for the day. He promises in Psalm 133 to release blessings, commands…even decrees.

 

AND CRY OUT TO THE LORD

 

How does one cry out to the Lord concerning the day will live in? Read, meditate on and pray the following three psalms….

Obedience always better than Sacrifice

 

Read 1 Samuel 15

 

Saul knew how to present sacrifices to God, but it was not legal for him to do it. Even though he did what he thought was right in the sight of God, it was actually rebellion and so God rejected it and Saul.

We must first seek the Lord for guidance and then, only then, when we hear from the Lord we must be obedient to do all that He commands us to do. We must begin to Consecrate, Fast, Gather and Cry out to the Lord.

 

I pray that you may endure the dark days ahead, that you persevere in all the Lord has called you to do, that you may bring Him glory, honor and praise through your sacrifices.

 

 

The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
